About Me

Hey there!

I am Nousayba Fekhaoui, a Moroccan in Qatar, pursuing my passion for storytelling and writing by completing my Journalism and Strategic Communication degree at the world-class Northwestern University in Qatar.

Nowadays, it has become more apparent that media narratives are controlled and spread stereotypes and propaganda, dismissing authentic narratives.

The state of journalism in the MENA is no different and has additional layers of complexity, with politics being at the forefront. To expand my knowledge of the intricacies of media and politics, I am pursuing a Media and Politics Minor at Georgetown University.

I am interested in research and writing about the Middle East as well as international affairs, geopolitics, economics, and history. 

My fluency in Arabic, French, and English with a bit of German allows me to understand different cultures and perspectives and better deliver narratives.
